Last updated: 24/9/2026
This privacy policy explains how TricoachMatt ("we", "us", "our") collects and uses your personal data when you respond to our advertisements (including Facebook and Instagram lead forms), request information, download a free resource, or book a call with us. We process personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR / AVG) and Dutch law.

Email: matt@tricoachmatt.com
If you have any questions about this policy or your data, contact us at matt@tricoachmatt.com.
2. What personal data we collect
When you fill in one of our lead forms or contact us, we may collect:
- Your name

We do not ask for health or medical information in our lead forms. Please do not share such information in a lead form. If health information becomes relevant later (for example, when you join a coaching programme), we will only process it with your explicit consent and will inform you separately.
3. How we receive your data
We receive your data directly from you when you submit a lead form on Facebook or Instagram (provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.), fill in a form on our website, book a call, or contact us by email, phone, or message. When you submit a Meta lead form, Meta passes the information you entered to us. Meta also processes data about your use of its platforms under its own privacy policy, which you can find at facebook.com/privacy/policy.

5. Who we share your data with
We do not sell your personal data. We only share it with service providers who help us run our business and who process data on our behalf under a data processing agreement, such as:
- Meta Platforms (Facebook/Instagram lead forms and advertising)
- Our CRM and email/SMS marketing platform (GoHighLevel)
- Our scheduling/booking tool (GoHighLevel)
- Our email and document storage provider (Google Workspace)
- Other providers, e.g., Mollie, our payment provider, if you become a client
We may also share data where required by law, for example with the tax authorities or in response to a lawful request from a public authority.
6. Transfers outside the EU
Some of our service providers are based in, or store data in, countries outside the European Economic Area, such as the United States. Where this happens, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. You can contact us for more information about these safeguards.
7. How long we keep your data
- Leads who do not become clients: up to 12 months after our last contact with you, or until you ask us to delete your data or withdraw consent, whichever comes first.
- Opt-out records: we keep a minimal record (your email address or phone number and the date you opted out) so we can make sure we do not contact you again.
- Clients: for as long as you are a client, and afterwards as long as required by law (for example, financial records are kept for 7 years under Dutch tax law).
8. Opting out
You can stop hearing from us at any time, free of charge:
- Email: click the "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of any email.
- SMS/WhatsApp: reply "STOP".
- Phone: tell us during the call that you no longer want to be contacted.
- Anytime: email matt@tricoachmatt.com.
We will process your opt-out promptly and stop all marketing contact through the channel(s) you opted out of.
9. How we protect your data
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against loss, misuse, and unauthorised access. These include storing data only in reputable, secure platforms, using strong passwords and two-factor authentication, limiting access to people who need it, and using encrypted connections. If a data breach occurs that is likely to put your rights at risk, we will notify you and the Dutch Data Protection Authority as required by law.
10. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- have incorrect data corrected;
- have your data deleted;
- restrict how we use your data;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- object to processing based on our legitimate interests, and to direct marketing at any time;
- withdraw your consent at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, email matt@tricoachmatt.com. We will respond within one month. We may ask you to confirm your identity before we act on your request.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, please contact us first. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) at autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl, or with the supervisory authority in your own EU country.
11. Age
Our services and advertisements are intended for people aged 16 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If you believe a child has sent us their data, please contact us so we can delete it.
12. Automated decision-making
We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing (including profiling) that have legal or similarly significant effects.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available at this link, with the "Last updated" date at the top.
